Patient Resources
As an exclusive resource for LMG patients and providers, we make imaging services easy, convenient and streamlined. Our office works directly with your physician’s office, coordinating referrals and imaging orders and delivering results fast.
Do I need a referral to use LMG Advanced Imaging Services?
You will need an order from an LMG provider in order to have your imaging done at our facility. Please have your doctor send the order directly to our office or bring a printed copy with you to your appointment.
My doctor sent in an order – do I still need to call to schedule?
If you have received a printed copy of your order, please call our office to schedule your exam. If your order was sent to us electronically, a member of our scheduling staff will call you to schedule or you may call us.
Can I bring an imaging order from another, non-LMG physician?
LMG Imaging Center is only available to LMG-providers and the patients they refer.
Will copies of my results and imaging exam be sent to my doctor?
We will send the results and images from your exam to your LMG physician automatically. Results are usually available 24-36 hours after your exam. Your physician’s office will provide you with the results or you may log in to our Patient Portal to view the radiologist’s written report.
How can I get copies of my results or images for another doctor?
If you need your imaging results for a consultation with a doctor or practice outside of LMG, please call our office to request a printed copy of the results and a CD with your images or you may log in to our Patient Portal to view the radiologist’s written report.
What is a Physician’s Order?
A written or electronically placed order from your physician is REQUIRED by law for all imaging exams. You must bring the order with you to your appointment or confirm that we have received your order. Without it, we will have to reschedule your appointment.
Every order must contain five key pieces of information:
- Patient’s Name
- Date Ordered (expires after one year)
- Type of Imaging Exam
- Diagnosis or Reason for Exam
- Physician Signature (written or electronic)
To prevent delays at check-in on the day of your scheduled exam(s), please check your order and contact your physician’s office if there is an issue
What is your Payment Policy?
Payment is expected at the time of your visit. We will accept cash, check, or credit card. Payment will include any unmet deductible, co-insurance, co-payment amount, or non-covered charges from your insurance company. If you do not have insurance, payment in full is expected at the time of your visit per our Self-Pay Agreement. Any account balance must be resolved prior to any additional services being performed.
You have 60 days to pay any unpaid balance and if not paid in full, your account will be sent to collections. In the event that your account is placed in collection status, you will be obligated to pay the list price (minus any payments made) in addition to a 18% collection fee. In the event of a return check, a $35.00 charge will be assessed.
Can I bring my children?
We respectfully request that you do not bring younger children to an appointment unless another adult is present to care for them. Due to safety regulations, children may not accompany a caretaker into most radiographic exam areas. We cannot provide one of our employees to watch children during your appointment. Siblings are welcome for prenatal ultrasound appointments with an adult chaperone present.
Can I use my cell phone while I’m there?
We kindly request courteous cell phone usage in our waiting areas (low volume or earphones for music or videos, conversations held outside of the waiting room). No cell phones are permitted in our changing or examination areas.
